Understanding Your Client’s Energy or Lack Of
Lesson 2.
2 of 8 – One of the most important aspects of understanding and putting into practice Reams Formula for Health is to understand how to read a client’s energy or lack of energy.
In this lesson, we will go through in detail how the result you get from measuring Carbohydrates in the urine with a refractometer is the first number in the formula for both the Ideal Formula for Health and for the Healing Zone Formula for Health.
Together with how to calibrate and make sure your refractometer is measuring accurately.
The zones of energy Reams identified are explored along with how energy is on a continuum with Hypoglycaemia at one end and Diabetes at the other. And the specific balance you want to help your clients achieve when all other numbers are in their rightful zone.

UNDERSTANDING HOW pH AFFECTS ABSORPTION AND ELIMINATION

In this lesson, you will learn the importance of the right pH for both the urine and the saliva for the proper digestive function of your client’s body.
Urine pH
Variations in the Urine pH are very common and have a significant bearing on your client’s ability to digest and assimilate the nutrients from the foods they are eating.
This can lead to problems with many areas of their body, including:
- Digestive Disturbances (Any and All)
- Hormonal Disturbances
- Tiredness
- Fatigue
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Aches and Pains
- And Much, Much More.
In this lesson, you will learn how to assess your client’s pH from their urine sample and understand how the client’s symptoms are often reflected in their urine pH.
Saliva pH
The process of digestion, assimilation and excretion begins in the mouth with the production of saliva to mix with the food being eaten.
If the saliva is of the wrong pH then the normal process of digestion is going to be compromised from the start. Saliva is an active digestive solution that is necessary for the efficient digestion of all foods.
Saliva which is of the wrong pH leads to complications with digestion, including ulceration of the Oesophagus, poorly digested food reaching the stomach causing fermentation, wind and other digestive issues as well as problems with the mouth teeth and gums.
In Reams Theory he saw the saliva pH as a reflection of the quality of the bile produced by the liver and gall bladder.

UNDERSTANDING SALTS AND CONDUCTIVITY

The Salt Number
In the RBTI Formula, the salts or conductivity number is a prime area of concern when doing an Analysis. The Salts reading is a measurement of the conductivity showing in the urine which is also an indication of the conductivity showing in your client’s blood.
The Conductivity result is exactly as it sounds and any number too high or too low is putting and pointing to imbalanced pressure on your client’s body.
This number along with the carbohydrate number are the first numbers to move when a detoxification program is followed.
Imbalanced conductivity can lead to heart attacks and stroke as well as be indicators of the cause of chronic fatigue and many cases of extreme tiredness and inability to concentrate.
Conductivity Ratio to Carbohydrates
In this lesson, you will learn the importance of the ratio between the carbohydrate reading and the conductivity reading, and is the first set of comparison numbers to look at when doing your client’s analysis.
From this comparison, you will be able to pick up when your client has had too much or not enough water, whether they have significant energy imbalances, whether they are likely to be diabetic and whether they will need urgent treatment in your clinic when their numbers are done.
Conductivity Ratio to Carbohydrates is gone into in-depth as it gives a clear indication of dietary concerns as well as the potential for diabetes.

Cell Debris
In this lesson you will learn what cell debris is and how it relates to your client’s health. The importance of what is seen in the urine sample as cell debris and how recognizing cell debris is an integral part of the Healing Formula.
It is important that as a practitioner you are able to quickly see in the cell debris whether your client’s body is cooperating with the detoxification procedures or not.
Nitrate Nitrogen
Reams saw the reading for the Nitrate Nitrogen number as a way of telling whether there was efficient or inefficient digestion of proteins in the small intestine.
Any number away from the Healing Zone either too high or too low was an indication of improper digestion leading to inefficient nutrient absorption and unwanted pressure on your client’s body.
In this lesson, you will learn how the reading for the Nitrate Nitrogen in the urine is obtained and how it fits into the Healing Formula.

Nitrogen & Ammonia Number
The Ammonia Nitrogen number relates to the elimination part of the digestive process. Every number in Reams Formula is important and Reams process is best followed when all numbers are in the Formula.
This number is particularly relevant to the elimination of protein wastes from the large intestine.
It is important that waste products are removed from your client’s body on a regular basis so there is no accumulation of Ammonia Nitrogen and increased toxicity.
Total Urea Numbers
Are calculated by adding the Nitrate Nitrogen number to the Ammonia Nitrogen number.
Numbers too high are an indication of pressure in the body and too much pressure can cause the body to break at its weakest point leading to the symptoms you see in your clients.
Keeping the Total Ureas in balance is an important stage of the treatment protocols and is one of the last stages your client’s body will go through as all of the numbers are brought back to a healthier balance.

THE DANGER ZONES

In Lesson 7 you will learn how to Identify the Danger Zones as shown in the RBTI Analysis Formula along with the affirmative action to take in each case.
Once the Danger Zones have been identified and dealt with, what is Normal Procedure and how can that be applied to each individual client based on the numbers in their formula.
Remembering achieving movement towards the Healing Zone alleviates symptoms by reversing the cause of the conditions through rebalancing your client’s biochemistry.
