DEHYDRATION KILLS EVERYDAY

Hard to believe isn’t it?
True though!
A dehydrated body will eventually fail. Water is so important for your health.
That’s why water makes up over 70% of your body’s mass.

Water: The First of 4 Building Blocks for your body.
Water, Food, Minerals and Enzymes.
Getting these building blocks right is especially important if you want to reduce or eliminate pain anywhere in your body.
So let’s talk about the first of these building blocks. WATER
THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS LACK OF WATER CAN AFFECT YOUR BODY.

Here at Mind Body Academy we have a passion for helping you get out of pain by bringing good health information to you.
For the last 30+ years, David one of our partners here at MBA has been investigating the causes of ill health and the breakdown of the body and what can be done to correct the many symptoms and disease states impacting body, mind, and emotions. David says “Suffering from pain when you don’t have to is a terrible burden to bear.”

David’s Personal Story: “When I first started getting interested in the science of body analysis, I was like most people. I’d heard a lot about water but didn’t realise how important it is. I knew I was supposed to drink 8-10 glasses a day because that information is everywhere. I just didn’t know how critical it was that I drink according to my body weight. Some days I would get so involved in other things, I’d only have 2 glasses of water and make up the rest in other fluids thinking that was ok.  Imagine my surprise when my first Biochemical Analysis back in 1990 showed I was chronically dehydrated, affecting the thickness of my blood, my ability to think clearly, the pressure on my heart and digestive system as well as all other organs in my body.

I had high carbohydrates, leading to variable energy, high salts putting extra pressure on my heart and vascular system, high protein wastes showing my digestive system wasn’t working properly and imbalanced pH’s of my urine and saliva indicating I wasn’t able to absorb nutrients properly. What a surprise that was. My next question was! THEN HOW MUCH SHOULD I DRINK? Since then I’ve made sure to keep my water intake to correlate to my body weight.
My body weighs 87 kg so my body works best when I drink 33 ml of water for each kilogram of weight or 2.9 litres of water every day.” The funny thing is this was worked out over 80 years ago when it was found that most men and women felt better and performed better when they had the right amount of water in their body.

Do you know how much water to drink for your body?
And just as importantly when to drink it?

To have optimum performance at work, home, school, in sports or just generally, make sure you consistently drink clean filtered water at the rate of 33 ml per kg of weight. Example: if you weigh 100kg drink 3.3 litres of water per day at the rate of 110 to 120 ml per half hour to properly hydrate your body. Best drank systematically through the day. Remember nothing else does what water does. And the best way to drink it is in small frequent amounts throughout the day making sure it is all drank before bed.

A client’s story: “I used to drink a lot of herbal teas and felt that was enough for me. However, when I began to drink more water, I found my skin really changed and became clearer and my energy levels increased. I also realised that often when I thought I was hungry, I was in fact thirsty and that drinking more water settled my food cravings. Drinking the right amount of good water has also made a huge difference to my mental clarity. In my work, I find water is essential to me now for my body’s physical and energetic systems. Water is now a priority in my life.”  Another client said “since I started drinking all of that water my blood pressure has dropped and I don’t get the pressure around my heart any more.”

Others have said they have less pain and more energy. Naturopathically I have been taught, if everyone would drink the right amount of water for their body it would stop most pectoralis heart attacks. What a way to save a life. Just drink more water.  I have found the more consistently my clients drink and the better quality of the water they drink, the better their health outcomes.
